Located in the Antalya region, between Kaş and Kalkan, you can stop your car along the coastal road, walk down a few steps, and be greeted by the breathtaking view of Kaputaş.

From above, it may look as though the beach is tightly squeezed between cliffs, yet in reality it is pure freedom. At first glance, it brings coolness to your body and peace to your soul. The color of the sea is beyond description – the purest shade of turquoise. Depending on the sunlight, it changes: in the morning a soft light blue miracle, at noon a vibrant turquoise, and by evening a deep, rich blue.

To reach Kaputaş, there are about 180 steps. But you won’t feel tired, because with each step you’ll be more enchanted. The breeze carries a refreshing touch, and the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs reaches your ears like music. With every step, you’re not just descending to the sea – you’re descending into yourself, leaving behind the city’s noise and chaos.

The sea of Kaputaş is unlike any other. Thanks to underground streams flowing here, the water is always cool. In the summer heat, this coolness feels like a blessing. At first you may say, “It’s too cold,” but after a few strokes you get used to it, and you won’t want to leave. The seabed is covered with small pebbles, which makes the water look clear and sparkling. The waves crashing onto the shore create a mesmerizing scene. Sometimes the sea is rough, but even then, this wild beauty adds to Kaputaş’s charm.

You won’t find big hotels or large facilities here. A small café, a few umbrellas, and sunbeds are enough. After all, people don’t come here for luxury – they come for authenticity. You won’t step on sand but on pebbles, and even that feels good – almost like getting a massage with every step.

After spending a day at Kaputaş, the sunset paints the sky in shades of pink. As the sun hides behind the mountains and its reflection glows on the sea, it feels as if it whispers to you: “Make a wish.”
